Leader Registration/Renewals
Any adult wishing to be involved in a BB company, as a leader or helper, needs to be registered with The Northern Ireland Boys’ Brigade (BBNI). After the church has approved the appointment of an individual to be a leader or helper in BB, the process outlined below in the ‘Leader Registration Pack’ needs to be completed. Alternatively, for those who require it, there is a paper version of the leader registration form which can be accessed below, underneath the online form.
Once the process has been completed, BBNI will send an email to the person with their leader registration number and post a welcome pack. In line with our Safeguarding Policy, no-one should be active in a BB company until the full registration process has been completed and they have received a leader registration number from BBNI.
New Leader Registration Form
New BBNI leaders, appointed by their Church, should complete this form to register with BBNI. On submission of this form a link will be sent to your church to confirm your appointment. To be eligible for this position you must complete an Access NI Enhanced Disclosure.
Leader Renewal Form
Every 3 years leaders are now required to renew their Access NI. This process includes filling out a renewal form and completion of a new Access NI or submitting an Access NI completed by the Church that is less than 6 months old.
Change of Role form
This form must be completed by the Captain, Company Correspondent, Chaplain or Church official.
