Thank You!
‘Thank you’ - two words that are not used often enough. Many of our leaders get involved beyond their BB company, helping us plan and deliver events, resources and initiatives that equip our volunteer leaders.
We recently hosted a special night to thank leaders that had served on our Executive and panels over the last year. We also said a very special thank you to our District President, David Blevins who has stepped down after 8 years of service.
David is a true example of a courageous leader. He took time to listen to our volunteer leaders, he constantly put the changing needs of children and young people at the forefront of all decisions and he challenged our thinking and processes. The legacy he leaves is a stronger organisation, with a structure that is fit for purpose and most importantly a renewed focus on advancing Christ’s Kingdom among children and young people.
As we listened to David’s final remarks as President he encouraged us all to ‘Choose God, Choose life and Choose courage.’
